Program Analyst will collaborate with program leadership to conduct data collection, analysis and reporting on operational deliverables.
Position will ensure key metrics and measures across program functions and staffing areas are reviewed and consistently evaluated for program and contract effectiveness.
Essential Duties Responsible for managing master data sets, developing reporting tools, and troubleshooting data issues and anomalies.
Identifying trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytic efforts.
Responsible for data and reporting architecture and presenting analysis and recommendations through various reports and dashboards.
Mines data from primary and secondary sources, reorganizing said data in various formats.
Provides quality assurance of imported data.
Manages and designs the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
Troubleshoots the reporting database environment and reports.
Gathers and documents user requirements for data and analysis and workload tools.
Develops and maintains systems and tools for workload and process automation.
Provides technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
Creates appropriate documentation for the data analysis process.
Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Job Requirements Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 24 months experience in computing programming and analysis or in related field.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months experience.
Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical, lay terms Highlevel experience in methodologies and processes for managing databases Ability to develop database structure and tools (e.
g.
, Microsoft SQL) Ability to communicate verbally and in writing Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines Certifications: None Advertised Physical Requirements: Must be able to engage in repetitive motions.
Manual dexterity.
Ability to sit for short or extended periods of time.
Standard office work environment.
Departmental Preferences: 18 months data collection, analysis, and complex reporting Computer skills with wide knowledge of business software (i.
e.
