Overview:
Norman Regional Health System’s (NRHS) Health Information Technology (HIT) department focuses on quality patient care, stable information technology (IT) platforms and infrastructure, and security of our IT systems in a hybrid work environment.
Fast-paced IT environment often requiring rapid turn-around for project completion.
HIT supports both clinical/financial systems and the technical architecture of NRHS by engaging Systems Analysts and Technical support teams, functioning together to produce a secure, reliable, and interoperable IT infrastructure, in support the mission and vision of NRHS.
Responsibilities:
Systems Analyst II – Clinical/Financial Analyst

Systems Analyst reports to the Director of Applications Support in Health Information Technology (HIT) and takes direction from the Systems Analyst Team Lead.
This position focuses on providing systems support and maintenance for clinical systems used throughout Norman Regional Health System.
The candidate is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, and evolution of systems software and related infrastructure.
This individual will lead and/or assist project teams, and assist with the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
The individual in this position considered a subject matter expert in at least one major software application.
Qualifications:
This candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline, and/or minimum of three (3) years’ demonstrated experience in clinical systems support and training.
Knowledge of Meditech Client/Server EMR a plus.
Offer proven ability to accomplish complext tasks.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Can work independently and in a team setting
Works closely with other HIT Analysts and Technical resources for implementations, upgrades, and day-to-day support needs related to clinical systems
Knowledge of inbound and outbound interfaces (HL7 knowledge a plus)
Provides day-to day support of EMR processes
Ability to learn and support new clinical applications
Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation
Knowledge of clinical processes, and various clinical systems
Works as a liaison between HIT and other departments
Collaborates with department leads regarding new system/product implementations
Responds to incidents requiring diagnosis of trouble tickets
On-call as needed in support of HIT clinical/financial systems
