QUALIFICATIONS Education: Highschool diploma required: Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Credentials: None Special Knowledge, Skill, or Ability: Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware and common software applications used in developing and maintaining web sites.
Knowledge of content management systems.
Proven knowledge of web languages including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of PHP a plus Working knowledge with photo and editing software to include Adobe Photoshop.
Experience working with APIs.
Knowledge of SQL General knowledge of the current literature, trends, and developments, to include SEO strategies.
Ability to develop related charts, graphs, reports, and records pertaining to district planning and strategy.
Ability to develop, administer and expand web content.
Experience with CRMs is a plus.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and exercise sound judgement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; emphasis on proper grammar Ability to manage information and communications with staff effectively.
Ability to work with limited supervision, plan projects and set goals, demonstrate initiative.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and members of other departments.

Creates web pages that support interactive and engaging content.
Investigates, analyzes, and formulates methods for handling special projects/reports.
Serves as the primary contact for all aspects of district websites.
Partners with other departments and staff to keep all district website content accurate and updated.
Works with other staff to find and execute opportunities for integration of district websites and other district systems.
Encourages and facilitates consistent, creative, and unified web design across the district's web properties.
Identifies opportunities to improve search engine optimization (SEO), time on site, web traffic, and other relevant metrics.
Maintains and documents ownership of district internet domains.
Develops reports as required to keep stakeholders informed as to project statuses as needed.
Plans, develops and implements staff development activities that support the use of web applications.
Maintains documentation regarding Web configuration, operating procedures, and addressing.
Maintains a flexible approach to problem solving.
Exhibits professional appearance and attitude.
Ensures compliance with district policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in website development and content management.
Experience working with Finalsite software preferred.
