Supports the integrations of various hardware and software components to maintain a cohesive and functional systems.
Ensures that different system elements work together by configuring and troubleshooting integrations, conducting compatibility testing, and resolving any issues that arise during the integration process on-premises and in CNI’s cloud environment.
Deploys and configures systems and infrastructure components on-premises and in CNI’s cloud environment.
Install and configure hardware, operating systems, middleware, and application software.
Also apply patches and updates, customize system settings, and optimize system performance for specific use cases.
Monitors the performance and health of systems and infrastructure on-premises and in CNI’s cloud environment.
Utilize monitoring tools to track system metrics, identify bottlenecks or issues, and proactively address them.
Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, system updates, and security patches, to ensure system reliability and availability on-premises and in CNI’s cloud environment.
Implements and maintains system security measures.
Perform vulnerability assessments, conduct security audits, and apply security patches and updates to protect the system against potential threats.
Analyzes system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Optimize system configurations, tune parameters, and implement performance enhancements to ensure optimal system performance.
Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can handle increased workloads and scalability requirements.
Maintains documentation related to system design, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Create and update technical documentation, diagrams, and manuals for system components.
This documentation helps with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Investigates and resolves technical issues related to systems and infrastructure.
Diagnoses problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions.
Provides technical support to end-users or other team members, offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as developers, network engineers, and database administrators, to ensure the smooth functioning of the system.
Communicates technical concepts and requirements effectively to stakeholders, participate in project planning and meetings, and provide technical guidance to other team members.
Stays up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning.
Attend training programs, conferences, and workshops, and pursue relevant certifications to enhance their skills and stay current in their field.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
