Overview: Health Infomation is responsible for the day to day operations of chart processing.
The HIM departement ensures the quality, safety and security of the patients medical information Responsibilities: Provides clerical support to the HIM department by retrieving charts from departments, preparing charts for scanning, scanning using departmental scanners, indexing and performing quality control checks in the Electronic Medical Record and other processes with in the HIM deapartment to ensure quaility and accuracy of the Medical record.
Qualifications: Highschool degree/GED, knowledge in HIPAA and other HIM functions is desirable
