Responsibilities: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with medical procedures, such as catheter care and phlebotomy - Monitor and document patient symptoms and progress - Provide emotional support to patients and their families - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans - Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients Qualifications: - Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant - Previous experience in acute care or hospice care settings preferred - Knowledge of medical documentation and sterile processing procedures - Familiarity with airway management techniques - Basic life support (BLS) certification required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills: - Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping - Experienced in catheter care and maintenance - Knowledgeable in airway management techniques and procedures - Familiarity with hospice care practices and protocols - Understanding of sterile processing procedures in a healthcare setting - Ability to provide care in an acute care environment - Capable of assisting nurses with phlebotomy procedures - Certified in basic life support (BLS) techniques Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
