We take that very seriously - because we care! About the Position: Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) is looking for a detail oriented administrative professional to join their team as the Wellness Court Coordinator.
As the Wellness Court Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing team activities, ensuring quality assurance among team members, managing client data, monitoring budgetary concerns, and coordinating services from various disciplines and the local community to optimize therapeutic outcomes for participants.
Key duties encompass participation in wellness court team meetings and proceedings, managing program operations, maintaining communication channels via email and internet, facilitating the intake process by collecting and forwarding eligibility forms to relevant stakeholders, preparing comprehensive program dockets, and compiling data for evaluation purposes.
Additionally, you'll maintain records of eligible offenders not placed in the program, serve as a liaison between relevant agencies, establish and nurture community networks for resource and referral purposes, oversee orientation and graduation processes, fulfill administrative requirements such as annual conflict of interest declarations, and engage in ongoing professional development through program-related training.
Notably, this role does not involve direct care treatment services for program participants.

It was funded through a federal grant program that has resulted in similar facilities throughout the country.
Built on the premise that people suffering from mental illnesses would be better served in the community as opposed to an institution, the center has played a pivotal role in restoring the lives of countless area residents.
COCMHC was awarded a CARF Three-Year Accreditation for the following programs: PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), Evaluation and Referral, Adult Outpatient, Team Green PSR (Psychiatric Rehabilitation), Systems of Care and Transitional Services, and Child and Family Services.
COCMHC is located in Norman, Oklahoma and employs approximately 95 individuals from Norman and surrounding communities.
