Overview:
_*The Civil Division Key Responsibilities*_:
Represents the elected District Attorney on civil matters including, but not limited to, the review and approval of expungement requests, the prosecution of civil asset forfeitures and the review of personal property returns.
Represents the State of Oklahoma in mental health civil commitment proceedings under Title 43A of the Oklahoma Statutes
Serves as general counsel to the county elected officials including the County Commissioners, the Sheriff, County Clerk, Court Clerk, Treasurer and Assessor
Represents various county boards, commissions and authorities
The Administrative Assistant will work with assigned attorneys to accomplish these services
_*Duties*__:_
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office - Initiates correspondence requiring knowledge of the office procedure and county government
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments
- Handle incoming calls and other communications
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings

- Dependable and reliable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities - Self-Motivated -Works effectively in a team environment, participating and assisting their peers
