Summer School Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a Summer School Teacher to join our team.
As a School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
You will provide guidance and support to help students achieve their educational goals.
Duties: - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies - Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation - Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve academic success - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students - Grade and record assignments Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - Valid teaching certification or license - Previous experience working as a teacher or in an educational setting - Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of different backgrounds and abilities - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.

This is a summer school teaching position at a boys group home in Norman.
Each student works individually either in textbook or on computers.
Class is held for 3.
5-4 hours per day.
Typically the class is from 8:30-12.
