POSITION TITLE: Women’s Head Volleyball Coach ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ABOUT USAO: The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) is a public liberal arts college located in Chickasha, Oklahoma, about 40 minutes from Oklahoma City, and is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC).
It is charged by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education “to provide an outstanding general education program for the State of Oklahoma with strong offerings in the liberal arts and sciences.
The experience will feature interdisciplinary team-teaching and will extend throughout the undergraduate experience.

SALARY: Dependent Upon Qualifications and Experience REPORTS TO: Athletic Director BENEFITS: Institutional fringe package includes pension plans, life, health, dental and vision insurance HOURS: Hours based on position START DATE: April 1, 2024 SUPERVISORY DUTIES: No direct reports POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: The head coach is responsible for directing all aspects of the university’s intercollegiate women’s volleyball program.
The successful candidate must be committed to recruiting student athletes capable of meeting the rigors of a demanding liberal arts curriculum and competing at the highest levels of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The head coach must embrace and be willing to model the core values of USAO and the NAIA, including sportsmanship, citizenship, and academic and personal integrity.
The head coach must also provide leadership in promoting the women’s volleyball program to all the university’s constituencies, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, fans and booster groups.
Other responsibilities include planning, programming, directing, supervising, and implementing the duties and functions of the Women’s Volleyball program while adhering to USAO and NAIA rules and regulations.
The head coach must work closely with all others involved in carrying out the philosophy and objective of the intercollegiate athletic program.
This is a 12-month position.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Must have successful experience as a coach and program fundraising.
