As the face of our team, the primary purpose of the Front Desk Associate is to ensure that guests have an excellent beginning-to-end hotel experience.
Work Performed: The Front Desk Associate is tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Check-in and check-out guests; Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner; Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, and travel directions; Handle cash and credit card transactions and process guest accounts; As needed, fulfill job responsibilities expected of a Concierge Attendant; Ensure proper disinfecting/sanitization/cleaning of the hotel front desk, lobby, and administrative office; Print and distribute Daily Event Sheet, door signs, reader board signs, key card items, etc.
; Fax, make copies, and arrange shipping and receiving of packages for guests, along with other services of the Business Center; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management.
Ensure the safety and security of guests through reporting any safety hazards that may pose a threat to guests and follow proper hotel key control procedures; Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications: Required Experience: Professional customer service experience Physical: Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly, Ability to bend and squat repeatedly, Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift Availability: Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
