As a senior benefits specialist, you will be responsible for the coordination, administration and education of employee benefit plans, including the communication of summary plan descriptions, providing annual open enrollment, maintaining both the internal website and HCM benefits portal, guidebook and new employee packets.
This work is key in helping Noble achieve its goals and share the story of regenerative land stewardship with farmers, ranchers, potential donors, and society at large.

You will: Administer all benefit and retirement programs utilizing prioritization and task management skills.
Monitor current plan performance and external environment for trends in plan design and assist with making recommendations for necessary amendments or other corrective action regarding plan performance or legal/statutory changes.
Assist with ensuring the organization and plans’ compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
Compile records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.
Completes benefits surveys, census, and demographic efforts required to collect accurate valuations and quotes from benefit providers.
Coordinate annual retirement plan audits.
Assist with preparation and filing required benefit plan tax returns and reports.
Advise and inform employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
Serve as a liaison between employees and retirees with benefit providers.
Process all new employees and existing employee information regarding enrollment or termination and assure proper COBRA notification.
Conduct annual open enrollment meetings and coordinate employee education meetings.
Facilitate accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.
Review and approve all monthly billings.
Provide back-up support for payroll processing.
Provide development guidance and assist in identification, implementation, and maintenance of organization information privacy policies and procedures.
Assist with performing periodic privacy risk assessments and conducting ongoing compliance monitoring activities.
Assist with delivery of initial privacy training and orientation to employees and ensure appropriate privacy interactions with business associates and appropriate third parties.
Secure all HIPAA related documentation.
Exhibit a customer service-focused approach in all interactions and tasks maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees, customers, visitors, and guests.
Use listening and discernment for follow-up questions to gain understanding and clarity to enable learning and retention of information.
