\*\*\** *Job Description:* OU Office of Admissions & Recruitment (OAR) works to bring in the next generation of Sooners.
Our team operates from Norman as well as across the state, nation and world.
We provide support to incoming domestic and international freshman and transfer students as they navigate the college application and decision process.
Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education.
Our goal is to build a vibrant, inclusive community on campus by recruiting students with diverse backgrounds, educational experiences, and involvement.
*We're currently looking for a new team member for our Pre College Programs to serve as the Pre College Coordinator.

This position supports concurrently enrolled students in the recruitment, admissions, advising, and enrollment of participants.
The position also supports the development, administration, and programming for the one-month June residential program, Sooner Discovery.
Specific duties include fostering relationships with students, staff, faculty, and community partners, supporting the planning and execution of student staff training, and events during Sooner Discovery.
*Responsibilities:* * Serves as a student recruiter for Concurrent Enrollment, responds to prospective student and applicant inquiries, coordinates and represents at recruitment fairs, assists with academic advising sessions, assists with student admissions, prepares and maintains recruitment literature and bulletins, and assists with enrollment of all participants within Concurrent Enrollment.
* Serves as a resource to guide prospective students about the Concurrent Enrollment admissions process and will facilitate and coordinate related application processes; schedules admissions committee meetings and prepares related documentation.
* Assists with the design, implementation, and management of Sooner Discovery.
Through programs, meetings, and activities on- and off-campus, develops relationships and community with and among participants.
* Assists with recruitment strategies within the Office of Admissions and Recruitment including serving on Contact, facilitating the Admissions presentation, and serving as a school admissions counselor.
Serves as the liaison/coordinator between on-campus and external entities and serves as a member of various project teams and may lead projects; * Maintains and distributes information to students regarding scholarship and career opportunities; * Undergraduate student advisement and supervision: Coordinates and carries out projects or assignments pertaining to recruiting, hiring, and training student staff for the Sooner Discovery program.
May include counseling students, event planning, producing in-house publications, performing public relations functions, etc.
* Assessment: Helps execute an assessment for each key stakeholder group of Pre-College Programs, including participants, student staff, campus and community partners.
Modifies and improves programs based on assessment results.
Assesses goals and student satisfaction.
* Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
*\*\*\*This position will be located in Norman with a flexible and/or part-time remote option possible after required training period.
This position is also eligible to participate in our Launch Advancement Program and receive up to $7,500 upon completion.
\*\*\** *Job Requirements:* *Required Education:* * Required: Bachelor's degree, *AND:* * 12 months of related experience *Equivalency/Substitution:* * Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months of related experience.
*Skills:* * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Basic math skills * Computer skills, including proficiency in navigating and maintaining databases * Some travel required for recruiting * Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information * Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines * Ability to communicate well and build rapport with students, faculty and staff * Ability to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations * Customer service skills *Certifications:* * Valid driver's license to travel to presentations *Advertised Physical/Environmental Requirements:* * Ability to bend, lift, stoop and carry.
