We are currently looking for a Full Time Unconquered Life Nutrition Coach to join our Unconquered Life Operations Development team located at the Abbott Miller Bldg working .
Summary: Will create, deploy and maintain content, methods and coaching strategies to empower UL members to achieve holistic health utilizing nutritional wellness.
Responsibilities: * Must understand the connection between the financial, fitness, nutrition, well-being and clinical aspects of health and how these connections affect the wellness of those we serve.
* Responsible for researching and developing innovative and engaging materials, programs, trainings and resources that adhere to this connection.
* These resources will support the effective delivery and maintenance of individualized instruction to empower Unconquered Life members to achieve holistic health utilizing nutritional wellness.
* Must embrace, support and maintain commitment to serving with excellence all Unconquered Life members as well as tribal officials and other visitors to our business in order to achieve optimal results of Unconquered Life members.
* Utilizes custom applications developed and specifically designed for the Unconquered Life wellness initiative and programs.
* Employ nutritional guidelines to develop meal plans, specific to the development of specialized needs of employees or clients who participate in programs developed by Unconquered Life.
* Contribute to the design and development of innovative and engaging training to provide awareness for overall health and wellness initiatives.
* Collect basic nutritionally relevant data to identify clients preliminary nutritional risk level and appropriate triage of nutrition information.
* Collect pertinent clinical data from client medical records in order to accurately identify current nutrition problems; utilizes approved, specific documentation standards to chart pertinent nutritional information into client medical record.
* Perform nutritional analysis; calculate and analyze client food and fluid intake, and weight records.
* Responsible for the assessment, tracking maintenance of and updates to the Unconquered Life member goal(s).
* Responsible for communicating with Unconquered Life members through any forms of communication necessary to encourage member engagement (email, text, video communications, phone calls, in person communication, and/or video conferencing, etc.
).
* Responsible for continuously checking in on the client's progress and provide support.
* Responsible for simplifying the nutrition information for clients to understand and not be overwhelmed.
* Attend and participate in Unconquered Life Care team meetings with clinic provider, health coach, nutrition coach, fitness coach, wellbeing coach, financial coach, and ambassador to create initial plan for client.
* Responsible for establishing short and long-term goals with clients that help them maintain a healthy lifestyle.
* All other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: * Follow instructions, written or oral * Adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements * Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters * Ability to work independently * Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability * Read, understand and apply regulations and policies * Establishes professional working relationships * Builds effective working relationships * Communicates verbally with team, departments, guests and management * Interpersonal skills to motivate, investigate, inspire Skills: Essential: * Basic Computer skills * Must be familiar with the MS Office Suite of products Experience: Nonessential: * 2 years directly related experience Education: Essential: * Bachelors of Science Credentials: Essential: * Automated Exteral Defibrillator * Pass general background check * Bloodborne pathogen * Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification * Standard Driver's License * First Aid Certification * Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position * PN L1 Nutrition Certification Working Conditions: Essential: * Pass pre-employment drug test * Sometimes lift and or carry up to 25 lbs * Sitting up to 25% of shift * Standing up to 50% of shift * May work night shift * May work weekend shift * Travel is primarily within Chickasaw Nation boundaries
