This is a reproduction of a 19th century planter's or plantation chair.
I'm guessing it's a mid-century piece.
The original purpose of the swing-out arms was to allow colonial officers of the Dutch or English empires to prop up their swollen feet after duty, so the swelling would go down and they could take their boots off.
The wood is teak.
It's in very nice shape.
It's also very comfortable.
These are highly collectible.
Do a quick search online to see what a steal this is.
Because of it's age, it's being sold without a test sitting.
I will be glad to let you see that it holds my light weight just fine.
$550
