This is a Chippewa Boot Company, store boot display, in the form of a totem pole, with a detachable Indian Chief head topper.
The pegs for the boots are adjustable, and can be totally removed if you just want the totem pole look.
It is made of a dense foam material, but the boot pegs are wood.
It is in excellent, used condition, with no noticeable damage.
The base is about three feet tall, and the topper ads about another 13 inches.
I have read, this is from the 1940s-1950s, but have no way to confirm.
